Exquisite Historic Home and Garden in Downtown Burlington

We had the pleasure of a lengthy stay in this gorgeous historic home, Maple House, after we sold our home in Burlington. Our stay was a wonderful experience in every respect. Maple House was lovingly and beautifully restored and offers every modern comfort. We appreciated the spacious custom designer kitchen which was a dream to work in. Sitting on the huge two level backyard deck let us forget that, despite the quiet oasis where the house is located, we were right in downtown Burlington within steps of Spencer Smith Park, the Art Gallery of Burlington, the Performing arts Centre and an abundance of restaurants and boutique shops. We spent time reading on the front porch in the comfortable wicker chairs with ottomans, overlooking the beautiful courtyard garden and the park across the street, feeling very much a part of the community, as passersby congratulated us on "our" beautiful house and garden. Maple House is maintained in excellent condition inside and out. The owner lives in another historic home nearby and is readily available to answer questions. We fell in love with this historic home, as did any visitors we had while we were living there. Should we need to rent accommodation in the future, this would be our first choice.

Thank you so much for the amazing review! It was truly a pleasure hosting you and Kirk in our Maple house and getting to know you both. You took care of our house as if it were your own home. We love that you enjoyed the local amenities living in downtown Burlington including your frequent strolls to the lake. Best wishes to you living in your new residence. Brian and Kathy
