The Chisholm House in downtown Burlington is a one-of-a-kind executive furnished rental, with modern amenities and all the charm of a heritage home (circa 1890). Situated in a park-like setting, across the street from Brock Park and just steps from popular Spencer Smith Park, this house is sure to inspire you, whether you are a business executive looking for a place to stay for a few months, or you are on vacation looking to explore the Toronto and Niagara Falls region from this central location.

This modest dwelling is a good example, in excellent condition, of the Victorian summer cottage prevalent in the community at that time. It retains most of its original features, which include the shiplap wood siding on the lower portion, the windows and trim, the doors and the delicate "gingerbread" bargeboard.

This house is a major contributor to the street-scape of the Nelson Avenue Block, just north of the Burlington Art Center on Nelson avenue. This Heritage Home retains much of its charm from its early days, and has been updated to reflect more modern living. The professionally landscaped yard with mature Black Walnut and Cedar trees provide a cottage like setting in an urban location steps to the lake and across from quaint Brock Park.

Charming Home

I rented the Chisholm House for two months while transitioning from home to home. Brian was a great host and was there for anything that was needed in or around the house. Him and his family live down the street which is convienient. I felt very much at home from day one. It was great to walk down to the water and walk the boardwalk every day. There are a lot of shopping, restaurants and very close to the highway for travelling. The house is well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend staying here for a week. Weekend or months.

Enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chisholm House in Burlington. Brian was a great host and couldn't do enough for us. The house is Located in a very nice quiet neighbourhood opposite the lovely Brock Park, it stands in a great location, close to Downtown Burlington. Parking for two cars was great especially if you have family visiting. The house retains its old charm on the outside while having all modern amenities on the inside. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone.

Weekend Getaway!

Had a fabulous weekend in Burlington with friends and music at the Sound of Music Festival! This home with all of its fabulous detailing made the weekend that much more enjoyable. Allowed us to explore a different side of Burlington and we were all pleasantly surprised. The owners were great and made the arrival appear magical with the twinkle lights in the trees out front. Would highly recommend this home as weekend getaway or a long term stay. Easy access to the waterfront, walking distance to restaurants and shopping and close to the highway. Thanks for sharing your home with us and we hope to come back next year! Submitted: June 16, 2014 Source: VRBO

"Ma cabane au Canada"

We spent october 2013 in that house and loved it. It is comfortably furnished, with all modern appliances, nice decoration, at walking distance from the lake shore and downtown Burlington, and the managers are very nice people, always ready to help you. Submitted: November 1, 2013 Source: VRBO
